Good thing I set it in a public place, or this meeting might have gone completely different! ;D

Amy wasn't sure about the location. It seemed rather….unplanned. Not her usual call on this job. Maybe it was just the last minute nature of the request that unsettled her stomach.
It was some sort of birthday party for mysterious government agency types, which just made the whole thing that much stranger. These co-workers must be a pretty close group to order a kissogram for their boss.
When she saw the boss, however, all her butterflies flew away, chased from her stomach by sky blue eyes. Throw in some killer dimples and a gorgeous smile, and Amy forgot all the rest of her worries as well. She could get used to this job, she thought, if all her clients looked like that.
"Well, hello there bossman," she greeted, pulling off her police hat and letting fall her red locks. "How about an inter-agency pow-wow?"
She was treated to a flirtatious smirk as the 'client' turned his full attention to her.
"I could get behind that….You certainly seem to bring the pow, and the wow. Jack Harkness at your service," he offered her a gentlemanly dip as he reached for her hand and lightly placed his lips to her knuckles.
"Nice accent, Jack Harkness," her voice low, her head tilted slightly as she repeated his name, feeling almost like she had just been told an inside joke or ancient secret. Grinning slyly, she leaned closer. "You do know I was paid for more than my hand, don't you?" she whispered against his cheek.
His lips brushed a smile against her cheek in return, before he surprised her by spinning her to arms length. “In that case, shall we dance?"
"I usually don't, but I get the feeling there’s nothing usual about you!” The end of her sentence was lost in the din.
Later, as they breathlessly leaned against each other at the bar, Amy remembered there was a car waiting for her outside. She sighed, reaching for her hat.
"I never asked which birthday this is for you? The agency didn't say."
“Honestly, I’m not sure. I kinda lost track around a couple hundred. Unless you want to count my date of birth, which would be more around….huh….like negative 3000?"
Not missing a beat, she leaned closer and responded huskily "I suppose you hunt aliens, too?"
"Actually…." he glanced furtively around before closing the remaining space between them to whisper directly into her ear, "…..that's exactly right."
"Yeah, sure," she released a hearty laugh, placing one last kiss on his cheek then turning to exit. Looks to kill, great dancer, and a sense of humor? She almost felt like returning her payment for this gig. "Next thing you'll tell me you came in a time machine shaped like a big blue box. See you in your next life, Jack Harkness," she said half to herself as the door closed behind her.
Had she looked back, she might have realized her new favorite client was seemingly chocking to death on his drink.
