Hey there! How are you all doing? I hadn't remembered that I'd been a mod here. But that's fine. It's been about 1.5 years since this comm went on hiatus, and about 2 years since the last real participation. I've really missed this comm, the opportunities to write for a prompt every couple of weeks. Is there any interest in starting this back up again?

I can't really re-start this comm, because I'm not an admin so I wouldn't be able to edit the side panel or update the profile, but I could create a new comm for this. It would operate the same way (new prompt every 2-3 weeks alternating drabble and long, voting, etc.) but unfortunately I will not be able to furnish banner prizes to winners (I am horrible at visual arts).

Please let me know if you're interested in this comm restarting by replying to this post, and if there's an (unspecified) minimum amount of interest, I'll start working on setting it up. By "interest", I mean if you'll look at the prompts and consider writing and submitting; I'm trying to gauge if anyone will want to participate. If you're only here to read, that's fine but please don't vote. Thanks!

Hello all! I hope you are well and safe. We've hardly had much activity here, and my personal life has just been too busy. So for now, I'm putting the community on hiatus. I don't know how long it's going to be, but I'm thinking when the new season starts I'll open it back up again.

If someone wants to take over the community from me, I'm willing to do that too. I just don't have the bandwidth lately and it seems like all of you are busy as well.

Thanks to all members and participants for the great activity and stories over the years. I hope we will be back here soon.

I am so sorry for disappearing on everyone!

I've been working so much I've had no time to blog.

I do intend to keep this community going, so I've decided to extend the "Masks" one-shot challenge until December 21st, on Winter's Solstice. The voting will go up then and then our Winter/Holiday Break will take effect. Any challenges then will resume in the next year.

I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe! Please, I hope we can keep this community going and see some entries!
